Hello, my name is Lee. I know, you're probably thinking, "The website is called Anthony Lee". My first name is Lee and my middle name is Anthony, so I did a swap around, as I think it has a better ring to it.

 

I am a passionate photographer based in the Northland city of Whangarei. Landscape and wildlife photography is my passion, which I love sharing with the world. It fills my cup emotionally and physically, allowing me to get out in nature which I love to do. I have always been an "out of the box" thinker, so most of my photos come from this place. I try and avoid taking, what you would consider, typical photos unless it's an amazing moment. Instead, I focus on bringing a fresh perspective that is drawn from passion, beauty, and connection.

 

I believe there are so many sights that go unseen or unappreciated but are just as beautiful as your typical landmark photos. I try my best to shoot common locations, in uncommon ways, by using that "out of the box" thinking to deliver amazing photos that create emotion and a sense of wonderment.

 

While my passions are in landscape and wildlife, I constantly challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone and photograph something I wouldn't normally do.

 

Commercially, I love to photograph products and events. There is nothing better than being able to immortalize someone's special day in amazing photos or share a cutting-edge new product with the world.

I understand photography is such a subjective thing when it comes to people's likes and wants. All I hope is that I can bring a sense of wonder and "wow" with the photos I have created. So, have a look at what I have captured, and who knows, maybe the more you look at something, the more you will go wow, even if it's not your cup of tea.
